Well located budget hotel

A small group of us stayed here with our wives for the IRB Dubai Rugby 7's in December 2008 for six nights. The location is excellent in the midst of the Bur Dubai area which is in the old part of Dubai - much better than the souless sky scrapers and concrete in the modern area elsewhere at the other end of town.

Don't expect soft mattress' - it was as hard as it gets , but that didn't bother us.

The staff are OK but a bit lazy at times.

On balance I think the Dubai Nova is ok, but not the smartest place in town , but the location is worth staying in . Next time we might upgrade to a better hotel , but no big complaints really for the price.
